BYSCC 2022 - Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies z.s. (CSVTS) has been invited by CSVTS partner organisation and BYSCC host, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST), to take part in the finals of the international high school science contest, the 41^st Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition – BYSCC 2022. This competition has been held in Beijing in late March since 2019, and CSVTS was invited every year since 2014, providing support to the Czech students selected to represent our Association and our country in the competition.

The selection of students for the competition is carried out by CSVTS in close cooperation with the Talent Centre of the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic, which holds the national Students’ Professional Activities (SOČ) competitions, as well as with the Association for Youth, Science and Technology AMAVET, z.s., the organiser of the EXPO Science AMAVET competition of science & technology projects; the winners in the final rounds of these competitions are chosen by expert panels of judges. It is with great pride that we report that our students regularly place high in this competition. This year, international contestants will be participating by submitting their projects remotely and the panel will be choosing the winners based on these submissions.
