Itálie
napadá regionální protijaderné zákony
u Ústavního soudu
Italská vláda se obrátila na Ústavní
soud s návrhem, aby zrušil regionální
zákony zakazující výstavbu jaderných
elektráren. Itálie je jedinou zemí ze
skupiny největších průmyslových zemí
G8, která nemá jadernou elektrárnu.
Premiér Silvio Berlusconi však usiluje
o to, aby se jaderná energie stala důležitou
součástí energetické koncepce země a
na výrobě energie v zemi se podílela
nejméně 25 procenty.
Rekordní
množství elektřiny z jádra ve Finsku
Výroba elektřiny v jaderných elektrárnách
dosáhla vloni ve Finsku rekordní výše.
Stalo se tak i přes to, že celková výroba
elektrické energie v této zemi v roce
2009 vlivem hospodářské krize
poklesla. Jaderná energetika v Finsku v
uplynulém roce vyrobila 22,6 TWh a
pokryla téměř 28 procent spotřeby.

Indicates
Most of the Swiss believe it is necessary
to build new nuclear reactor units to
replace existing units that are taken out
of service at the end of their operating
lifetimes, according to the latest survey
carried out on behalf of Swissnuclear,
the nuclear energy section of the Swiss
electricity grid companies’
organisation Swisselectric.

Namibia has two significant uranium mines
capable of providing 10% of world mining
output. Its first commercial uranium mine
began operating in 1976. There is strong
government support for expanding uranium
mining and some interest in using nuclear
power.

Dne 14. ledna 2010 zastihla českou a
slovenskou jadernou komunitu několika
generací velmi smutná zpráva, že
zemřel v roce svých nedožitých
80-tých narozenin prof František Klik.

2010
The World Nuclear Fuel Cycle conference
will be held 27-29 April in Munich,
Germany. The objective of WNFC is to
provide an international forum for the
discussion of issues affecting the
commercial nuclear fuel cycle, with a
focus on enhancing the economic
competitiveness of the nuclear fuel cycle
and nuclear energy.
Větrný
boom zpomaluje
Rekordem skončil uplynulý rok v
tuzemské větrné energetice.
Naznačují to výsledky jedenácti
měsíců vydané Energetickým
regulačním úřadem. Větrné turbíny
dodaly za tuto dobu do sítě 264
miliónů kWh elektřiny a instalovaný
výkon dosáhl 179,42 MW, uvádí ERÚ. V
provozu tak byly bezmála 1500 hodin,
tedy po pětinu disponibilního času.
